After nine days of bitter cold and ever-deepening snow, it’s been warming for a couple of days, and is now balmy (well, for Calgary in January).
This is what makes living in Calgary a joy – those sunny warm days in the middle of the winter, when the world gets mushy and soft (and the cars filthy). The birds sing, everyone comes out to play, and we all soak up the sunshine.
