I’ve gone from being totally intimidated by the pile of editing comments for the third in the Veil of Magic series, to being totally thrilled. First, I’ve gotten through them, in spite of all the chaos and interruptions and lack of solitude at home. Second, I really like the story. It’s stronger and more fully itself, with gentle additions and tweaking and focus on the depth of various threads (thanks to my editor for pushing that). A little more polish and it’s back to Coteau.
